2、鎮甯自治縣現有櫻桃種植面積五萬畝，是鎮甯主要種植水果品種之一。櫻桃品種主要為本地優質紅水櫻桃和白水櫻桃，新引進種植品種為瑪瑙紅、黑珍珠、黑玫瑰等。
3、種植區域主要包括城關鎮的永河村、大山村、乘涼坡村，馬廠鎮、募役鄉、大山鎮、江龍鎮、丁旗鎮等鄉鎮的大部分村寨皆有大面積種植。
