踢腳線可以用透明膠。大部分的踢腳線選擇的都是透明膠，因為透明膠的粘性比較強，如果想用相對來說比較環保的材料，可以選擇用脫醋型瓷磚膠，這類膠的透明度很高，而且膠的硫化速度非常快，缺點就是在進行固化的時候，會釋放大量的醋酸，醋酸的味道相對來說是比較刺鼻的，而且脫醋型瓷磚膠會腐蝕金屬鍍膜玻璃和一些無機的材料，所以在粘貼完踢腳線之後最好将所有的打開門窗全部打開進行通風，來幫助透明膠進行揮發，大概通風2到3天左右的時間，就可以正常進行入住了。
