河北師範大學（簡稱河北師大，Hebei Normal University），于1902年始建，位于河北省石家莊市，是一所具有百年曆史和光榮傳統的省屬重點大學，是中國較早成立、規模較大的高等師範院校之一，于1996年6月由原河北師範大學、河北師範學院、河北教育學院、河北職業技術師範學院合并組建而成。 該校由中華人民共和國教育部與河北省人民政府共建，河北省重點支持的國家一流大學建設一層次高校，入選卓越教師培養計劃、中西部高校基礎能力建設工程、國家建設高水平大學公派研究生項目、國家特色重點學科項目建設高校、全國深化創新創業教育改革示範高校、教育部來華留學示範基地建設高校。 河北師大最早起源于北京的順天府學堂和1906年創建于天津的北洋女師範學堂。2011年9月，原各校區遷至現址實現集中辦學。2014年11月，河北省人民政府、教育部決定共建河北師範大學。[1][2]截至2018年3月，河北師範大學新校區占地1829畝，館藏圖書303萬冊，中外文數據庫67個。

Hebei Normal University (hereinafter referred to as Hebei Normal University), founded in 1902, is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is a provincial key University with a history of over 100 years and a glorious tradition. It is one of the earliest and larger-scale Normal colleges of higher learning in China. In June 1996, the former Hebei Normal University, Hebei Normal College, Hebei Institute of Education, Hebei Vocational and Technical Normal College merged and formed. Co-founded by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Hebei Province, the university is a state-level first-rate university supported by Hebei Province. It has been selected as one of the universities in the Excellent Teacher Training Program, the Basic Ability Construction Project for Universities in Central and Western China, the State-sponsored Postgraduate Program for Universities in the National Construction of High-level Universities, the Key Discipline Project with National Characteristics, the National Demonstration University for Deepening the Reform of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education, and the Demonstration Base for Overseas Students in China by the Ministry of Education. Hebei Normal University originated from Shuntianfu School in Beijing and Beiyang Normal School for Women, which was founded in Tianjin in 1906. In September 2011, the original campuses were moved to the present location to realize centralized education. In November 2014, Hebei Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education decided to build HENU together. [1][2] As of March 2018, the new campus of Hebei Normal University covers an area of 1,829 mu, has a collection of 3.03 million books and 67 databases in Chinese and foreign languages.
