“隆聲帶”一般設在行車道旁的路肩上，由一系列凹凸機構形成，用聲音和震動來警告那些駛離行車道的司機，減少交通事故的發生。
根據安裝、設置位置不同，一般分為行車道、路肩、中心線“隆聲帶”。目前我國的東北地區，江浙地區，新疆地區的部分高速公路上已經開始大規模進行路肩隆聲帶的技術普及施工。
