自動檔爬坡時宜用S擋或手動模式：
1、僅僅使用D擋駕駛者會明顯感覺汽車比較“肉”，應使用手動模式(退後一擋)，采用爬坡擋(低擋如2擋/3擋等)爬坡，汽車不僅跑起來會非常有力，而且會更加輕快。
2、如果一味地堅持使用D擋行駛，會導緻引擎“拖拉”得更厲害，而且自動變速齒輪會在不同擋間(比如:3-2/2-3)不斷地轉擋，變速箱會很‘累’還會‘出汗’，會增加變速器損壞的可能性，而且油耗也會加大，發動機積炭還會增加。
