1、幹粉滅火器應每個月都進行一次外觀檢查，主要檢查壓力表，當壓力表指針低于綠線區時，應立即充壓維修；新購買的ＡＢＣ幹粉滅火器罐體應５年水壓測試１次，第一次檢測後，以後每２年水壓測試１次。
2、幹粉滅火器的罐體強制報廢期為10年。一般的滅火器瓶壓有效期在1年半至2年，并且要定期進行充壓或者更換。
