繪本賞析

　　Little Blue Truck《藍色小卡車》，美國童書作家愛麗絲·謝特爾的代表作。也是很多小朋友對于聲音、動物、的啟蒙書。相信很多男孩的玩具箱裡都有一輛小汽車，它可以翻山越嶺，上天入地，挑戰一切速度和艱難險阻，是住在他們心中的大英雄。

　　Horn went “Beep!” Engine purred.Friendliest sounds you ever heard.

　　喇叭“嘟嘟“，引擎哔哔。也許這是你聽過的最好聽的聲音。

　　Little Blue Truck came down the road.“Beep!” said Blue to a big green toad.

　　藍色小卡車，開上大馬路。“哔！”他向大綠蟾蜍打了個招呼。

　　Toad said, “Croak!” and winked an eye when Little Blue Truck went rolling by.

　　蟾蜍回聲“呱！”，一隻眼眨了眨。藍色小卡車，開過他身旁。

　　Sheep said, “Baaa!”

　　“咩！”綿羊叫。

　　Cow said, “Moo!”

　　“哞！”奶牛叫。

　　“Oink!” said a piggy.

　　“呼噜噜！”小豬在哼哼。

　　“Beep!” said Blue.

　　“哔！”藍色小卡車喊道。

　　“Cluck!” said a chicken, and her chicksaid, “Peep!”

　　母雞打招呼：“咯咯！”小雞跟着叫：“叽叽！”

　　“Maaa!” said a goat.

　　“呣——”山羊在問好。

　　Blue said, “Beep!”

　　藍色小卡車說：“哔！”

　　“Neigh!” said a horse.

　　“嘶——”馬兒吼。

　　“Quack!” said a duck.

　　“嘎嘎！”鴨子叫。

　　“Beep!” said the friendly Little BlueTruck.

　　“哔！”藍色小卡車友善的回應道。

　　“Honk！” yelled adump truck.

　　“轟！”翻鬥車大吼。

　　“Coming through! I’ve big important thingsto do! I haven’t got time to pass the day with every duck along the way!”

　　“借過！借過！我有重要的事要做！我可沒工夫跟路上的每隻鴨子打招呼！”

　　ROOM went to Dump around a curve.

　　撲哧！開到轉彎處。

　　He saw apuddle and he tried to swerve-Into the mud rolled the big fat truck, and his big important wheels got Stuck!

　　翻鬥車看見一個大泥潭，他趕緊扭轉方向盤——這個笨重的大家夥，陷進爛泥裡，他那很重要的大車輪，被卡得沒法動！

　　His heavy-duty dump-truck tires were sunk down deep inmuck and mire.

　　身負重任的翻鬥車輪胎在淤泥裡越陷越深，根本出不來。

　　“Honk！“cried theDump, and he sounded scared, but nobody heard (or nobody cared)

　　“轟！”翻鬥車害怕得拼命叫喊，但是根本沒人聽見。（或者說沒人理他）

　　Then…

　　然後...

　　Into the mud bump bump bump came the Little Blue Truck to help the Dump.

　　砰砰砰砰砰砰，藍色小卡車沖進泥潭，來幫翻鬥車的忙。

　　Little Blue pushed with all his might—— now Blue and the Dump were BOTH stuck tight.

　　藍色小卡車使勁推，用盡一切力量——結果卻和翻鬥車一樣被困牢。

　　“Help! Help! Help!” cried the Little BlueTruck.

　　“救命！救命！救命！”藍色小卡車大聲叫，

　　“Beep! Beep! Beep! I’m stuck! I’m stuck!”

　　“哔！哔！哔！我被卡住啦！根本動不了！”

　　Everybody heard that “Beep! Beep! Beep!”

　　“哔！哔！哔！”這次大家都聽到。

　　The cow came running with the pig and the sheep.

　　奶牛、小豬和綿羊，趕緊朝着那邊跑。

　　Up at a gallop ran the big brown horse.

　　大棕馬像風一樣飛奔到現場。

　　Goatjumped over the fence, of course.

　　山羊跳過籬笆來幫忙。

　　The hen came flapping with the chick andthe duck, and everybody pushed the Little Blue truck.

　　母雞、小雞和鴨子撲打着翅膀趕過來。大家一起用力，去推藍色小卡車。

　　Head to head and rump to rump they allpushed Blue-who pushed the Dump.

　　用頭頂，用屁股搡，他們推藍色小卡車，藍色小卡車推翻鬥車。

　　They couldn’t quite budge that heavy load.Then who hopped up but the big green toad.

　　可他們沒能讓重載翻鬥車挪動一小步。突然那隻大綠色蟾蜍跳出來。

　　All together-one…two…three! One last push and the trucks were FREE!

　　所有人預備，一——二——三！一起用力推，兩輛卡車出了泥潭！

　　“Thanks, little brother,” said the Dump to Blue.

　　“謝謝你，小兄弟。”翻鬥車對藍色小卡車說，

　　“You helped me and they helped you.

　　“你幫了我，他們幫了你。

　　Now I see a lot depends on a helping handfrom a few good friends!”

　　現在我明白了，很多事都得靠好朋友出手幫個忙，要不可真做不到！”

　　“Beep！“ said Blue.

　　“哔！”藍色小卡車說，

　　“Who wants s ride?” Everybody scrambled to jump inside.

　　“誰想搭個車？”大家争先恐後跳上車。

　　Oink! Quack! Baaa! Moo! Cluck! Peep! Neigh!Croak! Maaa!”

　　咩！哞！嘎嘎！呣！嘶！呼噜噜！咯咯！叽叽！呱！

　　Beep！ Beep！Beep！

　　哔哔哔！
