蟹爪蘭：仙人掌科附生肉質植物，灌木狀，莖懸垂，多分枝無刺，老莖木質化，幼莖扁平；鮮綠色或稍帶紫色，頂端截形，花單生于枝頂，兩側對稱；花萼頂端分離；花冠數輪，雄蕊多數，漿果梨形。 花期從10月至翌年2月；室内栽培的蟹爪蘭可通過控制光照來調節花期。
