1、應注意觀察路面狀況，并盡量沿路中或靠近山壁一側行駛。
2、行駛中牢記山路駕駛技巧，握緊轉向盤，切忌緊急制動，以防側滑。
3、駕駛員視點要遠且要盡量看清路面情況和路邊環境。
4、盡量利用路面的寬度選擇行駛路線，遇到彎道視線受阻時，山路駕駛技巧應嚴格做到“減速、鳴笛、靠右行”，以防轉彎中遇到會車或轉彎後遇到路障而措手不及。
5、在道路中央或順着前車車轍行駛，保持在30至50km/h。
6、放松心态、膽大心細、沉着冷靜、處事果斷、不驕不躁。
7、切記無論上山還是下山，都要沿着路右邊行駛，不要占對方的路，要永遠走自己的路。
