用苯或者四氯化碳溶液對溴的四氯化碳溶液進行萃取、分液操作，然後進行蒸餾操作，分離即可得到溴。
操作步驟：
⒈檢查分液漏鬥是否漏水；
⒉先裝入溶液，再裝入萃取劑，振蕩；
⒊将分液漏鬥放在鐵圈上靜置分層；
⒋打開分液漏鬥活塞，再打開旋塞，使下層液體從分液漏鬥下端放出，待油水界面與旋塞上口相切即可關閉旋塞；
⒌把上層液體從分液漏鬥上口倒出。
